Connecting Research and Practice
As part of the ACoRNS Research Network at University of Southampton, we are part of cutting-edge research into autism and education, bridging academic research and practice.
A growing number of children and young people who attend our centre have experienced difficult times at school and have been deregistered to protect their mental health. The vast majority are neurodivergent and need a space which is nurturing and tailored to their specific needs.
We are able to access the latest thinking, connect with research experts in education and autism, share experiences and give young people a voice in shaping the way the academic world understands and thinks about both home education and neurodivergence.
Work with us
Working directly with researchers at Broadleaf and connecting with other professionals in education and autism, our children, young people and families have an opportunity to engage with leading international researchers and make a real difference.
