Parents need support too

Stepping into the world of home ed can feel overwhelming, especially if it hasn’t been your first choice.

Many of us also have children with complex needs and HE provides a truly bespoke, hand-crafted education for our children; one borne of hours of research, reading, learning and planning. Research shows that HE students go on to thrive in all areas of life and careers.

To this end, we offer an extensive programme of support and information for families , as well as informal care and emotional support via social media and in person.

Our collaboration with the University of Southampton has shown us how highly top universities value HE students; they are able to self-manage study skills and time and arrive ready to study.

The best people to support home educators remain fellow HE parents - those outside of our extraordinary community of dedicated parents and carers do not have the experience to understand how rich, deep and wonderful a Home Ed journey can be.
